Movetru is proud to announce that we are the official performance partners of the Belfast Giants for the 2025/26 season, following a successful pre-season collaboration.

The Giants will now utilise Movetru’s wearable biomechanics and force analysis technology as part of their ongoing performance programme. The system enables on-ice screening of key movement metrics including biomechanics, ground reaction forces, and stride efficiency, allowing coaches to monitor performance, manage player loads, and reduce injury risk in real time.

“This is our on-ice pre-season. We’re assessing energy systems, imbalances, ground reaction forces, and players’ ability to maintain stride and skate length — all critical to performance,” Steve Key, Performance Coach for the Belfast Giants.

The Giants first used Movetru in 2024 as part of their pre-season performance screening. The results helped inform individualised programming, contributing to a season that saw the team secure their 7th Elite League title and 6th Challenge Cup win.

As the Giants pursue further silverware, Movetru continues its mission to empower high-performance environments with science-backed, real-time data.
